Sandy Emmerson is a certified Reading Specialist, Master Reading Teacher, and Dyslexia Therapist through Scottish Rite.  She is also a Certified Academic Language Therapist and Licensed Dyslexia Therapist. She has worked as a special education teacher, dyslexia therapist, and literacy coach and reading specialist/interventionist for grades Pre K through 12th as well as for Upward Bound at Odessa College.  She is currently an ELAR consultant at Region 18 and the lead dyslexia consultant.
