I taught Creative, Practical writing and AP Language and Composition classes, served as ELA Department chair and also coordinated grants, advanced academics and community relations programs at Klein Forest High School.

When I retired, I completed THE WRITER'S VOICE: LESSONS IN COMPOSITION and dedicated it to the student writers in my classes whose "voices" made the lessons included in the book possible. Currently, as a writing/education consultant, I work with schools and committees on projects that improve writing proficiency in "struggling" student writers.
